Assignment Type: 20-Week Contract
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $29.00/hour
Weekly Stipend: $378

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 20-week contract assignment in Palmer, AK. This role supports both front and back office clinical operations, assisting with patient care, administrative tasks, and clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients in a professional and friendly manner

• Take and document vital signs

• Assist providers with clinical procedures

• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and blood draws

• Administer vaccines as directed

• Schedule appointments and answer phones

• Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Provide front and back-office support as needed

• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards

Required Certifications

• Active CNA License

• CMA Certificate

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (in addition to externship)

• Front and back-office experience required

• Experience rooming patients and taking vital signs

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required

• EMR experience required

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification

• Occupational Health experience
