We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health management.
- Care for client with medical procedures like catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
- Assist with Client daily living activities such as bathing, personal care, brushing, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs in community or facility-based settings.
- Able to use Hoyer lifts and lift up to up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CNA or HHA with current state licensure or registration, CPR and other Certification.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions like infectious diseases or trauma cases.
- Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude toward patient care.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting using equipment like Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods.
