Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance. This role requires a blend of practical caregiving skills and emotional support, ensuring that clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued in their own environment.

Duties

• Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
• Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as helping clients move from bed to wheelchair or other mobility aids.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred, particularly in home health or nursing home settings.
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and the ability to recognize signs of distress or changes in health status.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
