Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant/EMT- Outpatient Medical Unit

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant/Emergency Medical Technician performs receptionist and clerical duties as needed, answers and relays telephone calls or takes messages. This individual will perform specific, supportive nursing services, patient care, and assists nursing personnel under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be self-efficient in dealing with decision making, be able to manage time, pressure, and deadlines in a positive fashion, and be able to respond appropriately to negative feedback.

Education Required: Must be a graduate of a Nursing Assistant program, and be listed in the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry, Medical Assistant (Certified for Registered preferred) or Current EMT license.

Related Years of Experience Required: Prior experience in a health care position preferred.

Credential/Licensure Required: Current CNA and/or EMT required; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Shift: Works 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
