Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Full-Time, In-Person

We’re looking for a licensed COTA who enjoys creativity, connection, and helping children build independence — without the pressure of building a caseload from scratch, with the potential to grow into a Screening Coordinator role.

You’ll step into an existing pediatric caseload in Raleigh while also participating in occasional community screening events in Raleigh, NC, helping families access services early and confidently navigate next steps.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of an OTR/L
  • Implement treatment plans
  • Manage time and caseload independently while staying organized
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and high-quality documentation
  • Conduct screening events
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with families and caregivers
  • Support children in gaining independence in daily routines

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • 1+ year experience preferred (pediatrics a plus)
  • Comfort working with developmental delays, sensory needs, or autism
  • Organized and able to manage time independently
  • Warm communication style with families and team members
