Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant

Certifications required: Xray certification AND coronal polishing certification (will consider those with only x-ray certification in certain circumstances)

OR graduation from an accredited dental assisting program

OR 1 year of confirmed experience in a dental office in the last 3-5 years

PAY: Pay is based on experience and which of the above certification requirements are met

We are looking for a skilled and reliable **Pediatric Dental Assistant** to join our busy team! This is a fast-paced environment that requires a positive attitude and a love for working with kids.

**Key Responsibilities***

Provide chairside assistance for pediatric dental procedures.

* Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups.

* Ensure patients (and their parents) feel comfortable and welcomed.

* Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment.*

*Assist the hygienist with xrays and other various needs

**Physical Requirements:** This position is active and requires a significant amount of standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the day.

**Requirements*** **Experience:** Must have at least **1 year of chairside dental experience** OR be a graduate of an accredited **Dental Assisting Program (OR certifications in dentistry including but not limited: X-ray certification and coronal polishing)**.*

**Personality:** Must be genuinely "kid-friendly," patient, and enthusiastic.*

**Teamwork:** Must be a strong team player who communicates well with staff and doctors.
