Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and acute care medications.
• Conduct patient intake processes, ensuring accurate medication histories and patient information.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and educating patients about their medications.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including aseptic technique for sterile compounding.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Support the management of medication administration processes within the pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in long-term care (LTC) settings to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all activities accurately in accordance with pharmacy policies.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in hospital or critical care settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and IV infusion preparation.
• Excellent patient service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
