An independent community pharmacy in Richardson, TX is seeking a full‑time, Texas‑registered Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a dependable technician who enjoys a fast‑paced community pharmacy environment and values consistent hours, teamwork, and patient‑focused care.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full‑time (Monday–Friday)
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• (8 paid hours with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch)
• Employment Type: Full‑Time
• Setting: Independent community pharmacy
• Start Date: May (contingent)

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and enter prescriptions
• Assist with prescription preparation and labeling
• Manage prescription workflow and maintain organization
• Handle insurance claims and troubleshoot rejections
• Provide excellent customer service at drop‑off and pick‑up
• Maintain compliance with Texas pharmacy laws and procedures
• Support pharmacists and collaborate with pharmacy staff

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration (required)
• Previous community pharmacy experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Compensation

• $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Stable, full‑time hours in a supportive independent pharmacy setting
