Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team by assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Process prescriptions and manage patient medication records while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Answer phone and triage calls and answer inquiries as appropriate
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- State Board of Pharmacy License (PHAT)
- MINIMUM: High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
DESIRED
- Any previous comparable experience
- Any equivalent experience as a certified pharmacy technician
- Certified Immunizer
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.60 - $25.85 per hour
