Certified Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking two Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our growing pharmacy team. These roles support specialized services in compounding and long term care, offering an opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient -focused environgment.

Position 1: Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound non-sterile medications in compliance with USP standards

Accurately measure, mix, and label medications

Maintain compounding logs and documentation

Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment

Assist pharmacist with quality control and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in non-sterile compounding

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of USP 795 and 800

Postion 2: Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

Fill and package medications for long-term care at home patients

Manage medication orders and refills

Work with multi-dose packaging systems

Coordinate with Caregivers

Maintain accurate patient records and inventory

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy

Familiarity with multi-dose or adherence packaging

Strong organizational and communication skills

General Requirements (Both Positions)

Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Certification

National certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Team-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)
