Certified Pharmacy Technician

Duties

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, including non sterile compounding.
  • Manage medication intake, verify prescriptions, and ensure proper documentation aligned with medical terminology standards.
  • Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient service by answering medication-related questions, clarifying instructions, and supporting overall patient care initiatives.
  • Document all pharmacy activities meticulously, including medication dispensing, inventory updates, and patient interactions.

Experience

  • Prior pharmacy technician experience independent pharmacy is highly preferred.
  • Critical care experience is a strong asset, demonstrating ability to handle complex medication regimens in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent patient service while maintaining accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools will enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
