Certified Pharmacy Technician

We’re hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician. This role is ideal for candidates with prior compounding experience in a retail pharmacy (Preferred) who want hands-on training, career growth, a stable, dynamic and great working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications and compounding non-sterile formulations
• Accurately measure, mix, and package prescription preparations
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming supplies, track inventory and expiration dates
• Maintain the cleanliness of compounding areas and equipment; perform routine disinfection tasks
• Follow procedures for labelling, documentation, and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
• Make and answer calls.
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and competency evaluations

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 years retail pharmacy experience preferred (entry-level applicants with relevant skills may be considered)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability
• Clear communication skills and professional customer service abilities
• Comfortable performing basic calculations and reading/interpreting prescriptions and compounding instructions
• Computer-literate and able to work with pharmacy management systems
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
