Travel Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient) – York, PA

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Inpatient Pharmacy
• Location: York, PA
• Start Date: July 13, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Days, typically between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd or 4th Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound IV medications, including hazardous and non-hazardous preparations
• Process medication orders and maintain accurate documentation
• Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems
• Manage pharmacy inventory, stock rotation, and medication storage requirements
• Assist with medication packaging, labeling, and distribution
• Support pharmacists in providing safe and efficient patient care

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• EPIC and Pyxis experience required
• Strong knowledge of IV admixture preparation and pharmacy operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
