Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication processing and authorization workflows in a hybrid setting. This role involves working both remotely and on-site, ensuring accurate handling of prescriptions, prior authorizations, and specialty medications.

Required Qualifications

• Active CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification
• Active TCH (State Pharmacy Technician License)
• Experience with medication prior authorizations
• Experience handling GLP-1 weight loss medications (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro)
• Minimum 1+ year of travel experience (recent and continuous preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage medication prior authorizations
• Handle specialty medications including GLP-1 therapies
• Coordinate with providers, insurance companies, and patients
• Ensure accurate documentation and workflow management
• Support outpatient pharmacy operations and patient services

Technical Requirements

• Must have own computer/laptop
• Reliable internet and power supply
• Ability to use Citrix Workspace for remote access

Work Requirements

• Hybrid role – must be available to work onsite as needed
• Must reside in-state (California)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Notes

• Experience with Epic (or similar EMR systems) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,200.00 per week
