Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, first and foremost, you will be responsible for financial audits of the associations that we manage, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing expert financial analysis. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex accounting projects, including auditing and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements for each property.
- Conduct audits and internal reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, and other financial tools to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
- Strong background in public accounting with experience in auditing, and corporate accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, and other financial management tools; adept at double entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, account reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and balance sheet management.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports and concepts such as debits & credits, financial statement preparation, analysis skills, and financial report interpretation..
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
