Certified Respiratory Therapist - RRT/CRT

We are looking to acquire dynamic respiratory therapists to join our Respiratory team. *Bilingual preferred*

Full-Time positions only (typically Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm). This person should be highly motivated to learn with the ability to adapt to patient needs.

· Providing education is the core of this position. We ensure our families can properly use the home care equipment prescribed by their physician to provide optimal outcomes

· Educate our patients and caregivers on respiratory therapy home devices to ensure a seamless transition from hospital to home

· Carefully follow doctors’ instructions and conduct all prescribed therapies accurately and completely

· Participate in evaluation of patients, recommend treatments and advise doctors on best practices for home care treatment

· Document all treatments and report progress to physicians

· Maintain compliance with all laws and policies

· Includes home assessments and in-services to patients in home and hospital settings for initial set-up and follow-ups of Ventilators, Cpaps, Bipaps, Apnea Monitors, Pulse Oximeters, Oxygen Concentrators and Suction Machines

· Promote compliance of respiratory therapy and adhere to Joint Commission regulations

· Additional responsibilities include: work as on-call service representative evenings and weekends on a scheduled rotation basis (frequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibility). Must respond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call Report

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
