SUMMARY:�
Split position at HHS; .5 Basic Nursing Instructor and .5 as Health Office Staff. Coordinate a comprehensive school health program including delivery of services to students and staff members in order to enhance health and wellness in the school community. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional school nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Illinois States law regarding nursing practice.� �
QUALIFICATIONS
:� Valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with a certified school nurse endorsement. Current CPR Resuscitation program completion; Illinois Certification as a Vision and Hearing Screening technician preferred. Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology required. Prior professional nursing experience, preferably pediatric, adolescent, community or mental health nursing, and health program management preferred. Must be able to obtain BNA credentials within one year for BNA Instruction for the 2027 / 2028 School Year.
