Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Engage students in meaningful activities that align with curriculum objectives.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs of students, including those with special educational needs or autism.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Support literacy education and math skills development through interactive learning experiences.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- Background in education, special education, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in tutoring or working one-on-one with students to enhance their learning outcomes is beneficial.
