Job Duties:
-
Perform & document HM Inspections including Internal, External, Leakage, and thickness examinations on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.

Perform & document Method 27 EPA Leak Tests on MC-306 & DOT-406 fuel tankers
-
Perform & document Pressure Re-Tests on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.

Perform required repairs on various valves, vents, and pump equipment

Maintain all testing equipment required for Tank inspections and testing

Maintain all training as required by USDOT
-
Maintain all documentation as outlined by USDOT regulations.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on all forms of trailers as needed.

Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.

Wears proper personal protective equipment to protect from injury.

Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter.

Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
Full Certification as a CT Inspector (a minimum of 3 years of documentable experience in a qualified facility & a High School diploma).

Thorough knowledge and understanding of methods required to perform Tank Inspections following current USDOT regulations and standards.

Working knowledge and understanding of the safe and proper use of various testing equipment, gauges, and measuring devices required to properly complete tanker inspections.

Valid Driver License; CDL is preferred but not required.
