Certified Tumor Registrar / Oncology Data Specialist

Health Information Partners (HIP) is currently seeking a Certified Tumor Registrar (Oncology Data Specialist) for a part-time, 20-30 hour-per-week remote assignment. We are looking for someone with immediate availability to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for case finding and abstracting cancer registry accounts. This is a remote position requiring a high level of accuracy, independence, and familiarity with California healthcare systems.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of recent Cancer Tumor Registry experience
• Proficiency with CNext
• Experience using Cerner PowerChart
• Plus if you have experience abstracting in a California healthcare system

Candidates will:

• Successfully pass a criminal record/OIG/drug screening
• Successfully pass a prior employment verification screen
