Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that welding processes meet industry standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and quality of structures, ensuring they meet customer expectations and requirements.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of welded components and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
• Utilize various inspection tools and techniques, including calipers and vision inspection systems, to assess the quality of welds.
• Review documentation related to welding processes
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in welding practices and quality management systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, including any non-conformities or areas requiring corrective action.

Requirements

• Proficient in using inspection tools including calipers and vision inspection systems.
• Certification in welding inspection (e.g., AWS CWI) is required
