CFO Assistant & HR Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant to support our CFO in a fast-paced, growing environment. This role blends executive support, bookkeeping, HR Coordination, and light controller-level responsibilities. It is ideal for someone with an accounting background who is proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable owning both financial and operational tasks.

For this role you need to be dependable, systems-minded, and calm under pressure. You need to enjoy creating order, improving processes, and supporting leadership at a high level while staying hands-on with the details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Support month-end close and internal financial reporting
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Track expenses, budgets, and key financial documentation
  • Help maintain strong internal controls and organized financial systems
  • Assist with payroll coordination and benefits administration
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management
  • Maintain confidential HR and financial documentation
  • Provide calendar, scheduling, and general executive support to the CFO
  • Conflict support management
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support experience
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate needs
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
  • Salary range$29 - $29 per hour

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ogden, UT 84401
