Compensation

• $165,000 – $225,000 base salary + performance bonus (12%–25%)

• Final offer based on experience, NetSuite expertise, and service/contracting finance background

About the Role

Beacon Mechanical Service is a growing, multi-division mechanical service company seeking a hands-on CFO to lead financial strategy, reporting, cash flow, and operational finance. This role will also oversee core administrative functions including HR, payroll, IT, and office administration. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite ERP ownership experience and understands service contracting economics (job costing, labor productivity, margin control, and working capital).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability initiatives

• Oversee accounting: month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance

• Manage cash flow, working capital strategy, banking relationships, and financial risk

• Own and optimize NetSuite (GL, AP/AR, reporting, dashboards, workflows, automation, and data integrity)

• Drive job costing, margin analysis, and KPI reporting by division

• Oversee HR/payroll administration, benefits coordination, and HR compliance support

• Oversee IT/vendor relationships and admin functions (policies, systems, office operations)

• Build scalable processes and lead/support the accounting and admin teams

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive finance leadership (CFO/Controller/VP Finance)

• NetSuite experience required (ERP ownership, reporting, workflows, and financial controls)

• Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management skills

• Experience in service contracting, construction, field service, or trades strongly preferred

• Experience overseeing HR/Payroll/IT/Admin functions preferred

• CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus
