Job Title: Medical Billing Team Lead

Location: Bhoun Road, Chakwal

Preference: Candidates with family in Chakwal or nearby areas will be preferred

Position Overview

Sequel Technologies is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Team Lead for its sister company, MED AI (Chakwal). The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the billing team handling US-based healthcare clients, ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete medical billing cycle
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims
• Follow up on denied or rejected claims and resolve issues
• Lead, train, and support the billing team
• Monitor billing performance, reports, and revenue metrics
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CPT, and ICD-10 standards
• Handle complex billing issues and escalations
• Improve billing workflows and internal processes
• Maintain SOPs and assist in system updates and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of medical billing experience
• At least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
• Hands-on experience with claims submission, denial management, and insurance follow-ups
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
