Help campers reach new heights this summer!
Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking a Challenge Course Manager to run the high and low ropes course at our overnight camp in Julian, CA. You'll manage the climbing tower, mentor a dedicated team, and create safe, unforgettable adventure moments for campers.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the climbing tower and ropes course set in a peaceful oak grove.
- Lead a fearless challenge course team in stellar operation of the high and low ropes course, handling inspections, setup, tear-down, and equipment upkeep.
- Support campers physically and emotionally as they push themselves to try new challenges.
- Immerse yourself in the summer camp community by assisting with camp-wide activities and general camp operations, living on site with other camp staff, and contributing to the summer magic that overnight campers experience.

Employment Dates & Compensation
Dates: June 1 - July 25, 2026
Pay: $124- $130 per day (includes meals and lodging)
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience:
- At least 21 years old by June 1, 2026.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Commitment to work and live onsite the full camp season: June 1- July 25, 2026.
- Experience in challenge course facilitation plus ACCT Level 1 certification (Level 2 preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills; supervision experience is preferred.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (or commitment to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
