Duties
- Provide dependable care with a strong focus on safety, structure, and routine
- Engage children through age-appropriate play, learning activities, and emotional support
- Incorporate themed or storybook-inspired elements (such as princess, fairy tale, or character-based play) when appropriate for the family
- Lead creative storytelling, imaginative play, and interactive activities that support child development
- Maintain professionalism and consistency while adapting energy and engagement to each child’s needs
- Follow family instructions, schedules, and expectations closely
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding the child’s day, needs, and progress
- Ensure a calm, positive, and supportive environment at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children (nannying, babysitting, daycare, teaching, or related roles)
- Strong ability to engage children in a warm, patient, and nurturing way
- Comfortable with imaginative play, storytelling, and expressive interaction
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Ability to maintain professionalism while incorporating themed or creative engagement
- Must enjoy working with children and supporting their emotional and developmental growth
- Performance, theater, dance, or creative arts experience is a plus but not required
