Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare tailored to each child's needs, fostering a safe and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding routines, ensuring nutritional standards are met for all age groups
- Conduct age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area through regular cleaning and organization to ensure a hygienic space
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, nap times, and potty training
- Collaborate with parents and team members to develop individualized care plans that support each child's growth
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar roles
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong skills in meal preparation and understanding of nutrition for young children
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Reliable, energetic, positive attitude with a genuine passion for caring for children
