Responsible for managing overall accounting, taxation, audit compliance, and financial rePrepare and maintain accurate financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
- Handle all direct and indirect tax compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and assessments.
- Finalise accounts, balance sheet, P&L statements, and MIS reports periodically.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for annual audit processes and resolve audit queries efficiently.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and adherence to compliance requirements under Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
- Monitor internal financial controls and suggest improvements to strengthen accounting processes.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and receivables accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
- Liaise with external consultants, CA firms, and regulatory bodies for any compliances or certifications.
- Assist in strategic planning, cost control, and financial risk management as required by management.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with valid membership from ICAI.
- 0-3 years post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance (for fresher CA role) or 3-5+ years for senior CA roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), Income Tax Act, GST provisions, Companies Act, and ROC compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting ERPs (SAP, Oracle, or others).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
