Chartered Accountant

Job Summary

Nine Star Trading is a growing and trusted trading company based in Dubai, specializing in the import, export, and distribution of a diverse range of products. We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, bank reconciliations, and inventory-related transactions
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits and filings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, supporting monthly closings and internal reporting
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, and working capital management
• Assist in the preparation of sales invoices, petty cash reports, and employee reimbursement claims
• Monitor due payments, follow up on outstanding invoices, and maintain well-organized financial documentation
• Analyze trading margins, product costings, and assist in pricing strategy and financial forecasting

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in trading, distribution, or service industries, or reputable accounting firms
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and local accounting/tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inventory or cost accounting in a trading or distribution environment
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, LC handling, and VAT filing procedures
• Prior work experience in the UAE is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
