Chartered Accountant

We are a growing company in the maritime sector seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage all financial reporting, tax compliance (VAT & Corporate Tax), and budgeting while providing strategic insights to support our business growth.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate books of accounts and oversee daily financial transactions.
• Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations, including VAT filing and the new UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Audit Coordination: Manage external audits and ensure all documentation is in order.
• Payroll & Payables: Oversee staff payroll (WPS), supplier payments, and berth/utility renewals (e.g., Dubai Harbour/DEWA).
• Strategic Planning: Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Experience: 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the maritime, yachting, or logistics industry is a major plus.
• Software: Proficiency in Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
