As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead our accounting and bookkeeping team.

Position Summary
The selected candidate will serve as a Finance Lead, responsible for overseeing a team of accountants and bookkeepers managing the financial records of our US-based clients. This role requires strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and hands-on experience in US GAAP and client management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of accountants and bookkeepers handling US-based client accounts
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements, bookkeeping, and reconciliations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific requirements
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and quality control within the finance team
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff
• Coordinate with clients and ensure smooth financial operations and reporting
• Support audits, tax-related work, and financial analysis for clients

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA / ACA)
• Articleship completed from a Big 4 accounting firm preferred
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
• Experience managing teams is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems

Mandatory Requirements (to be completed within 6 months of joining)

• QuickBooks (QB) certification must be completed
• Xero certification must be completed
• US Taxation course must be completed
• Successful completion of all certifications within the 6-month timeline is compulsory for continued role progression
