Role Overview
A leading Steel Manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee and strengthen its finance, accounting, and compliance functions. This is a senior-level, hands-on role requiring strong expertise in financial reporting, cost accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations for the manufacturing business
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory regulations
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax filings, and audit documentation
- Monitor production costing, inventory valuation, and cost control measures
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Implement internal controls and improve financial processes
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and compliance regulations
- Solid experience in cost accounting and inventory management
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
