Chartering and Execution specialist

For our company in Dubai (Magri FZCO), we are looking for a full-time Chartering and Execution Specialist with a permanent employment contract. The Employee will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operational processes in support of SODRU's trading activities and supply chain.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Nominate vessels to shippers/consignees and coordinate the loading/unloading processes for vessels in ports around the world and at the Company’s terminals;

• Monitor the cargo readiness for shipment and vessel queues at loading/unloading ports;

• Forecast the vessels’ departure/arrival time to the world ports and Company terminals;

• Control the cargo documents for incoming/outgoing vessels to/from the Company's terminals;

• Provide information on incoming and outgoing vessels;

• Calculate and coordinate the lay time, demurrage, and dispatching with ship owners, as well as with shippers/consignees;

• Prepare and coordinate the vessels’ loading/unloading plans; ensure reporting.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education (preferably Organization of transportation and process management in transport/logistics/navigation);

• Language proficiency: Russian and English - full fluency (both oral and written);

• 3-4 years of experience in maritime transportation/logistics is desirable;

• Knowledge of MS Office products;

• Personal qualities: high level of responsibility, attention to details when working with documents, stress resistance, communication skills, ability to learn;

• Desire to develop in the logistics and freight field, deepening professional knowledge and skills.
