JOB SUMMARY

The Checkpoint Technician is responsible for performing visual slump checks of concrete in the truck mixer and monitoring the concrete batching process to ensure that quality standards are maintained. The role includes coordinating with the plant operator to adjust admixture dosage and moisture content as required, as well as coordinating with site technicians regarding concrete quality and mix requirements. The technician is also responsible for reporting any quality-related issues to the Quality Supervisor or QC Engineers.

In addition, the technician must verify concrete batching reports for accuracy and compliance, maintain proper documentation of all concrete inspection and checking details, and ensure accurate recording of quality control data. The role also requires knowledge of concrete mix design and the ability to identify and support the resolution of issues during production through effective problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Plus Two (Higher Secondary)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Checkpoint Technician in a concrete batching plant in UAE
• Basic knowledge of concrete mix design, fresh concrete testing, and aggregate testing procedures
• Strong understanding of fresh concrete tests such as slump test and related QC checks
• Basic knowledge of aggregate tests such as moisture content & sieve analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Languages: English and Hindi
