Chef

**Job Overview:**

Join our team at Athena House as a dedicated chef. We are currently hiring a chef. We specialize in providing comprehensive care for individuals facing various mental health challenges, including PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Depression, &Anxiety . As a chef you will play a crucial role in assisting by providing healthy and nutritous meals.

-In addition to cooking lunch and dinner Monday through Friday duties will include:

1. Shopping for food for meals, and snacks.

2. Prepping, and Cooking meals

3. Cleaning of kitchen and cooking /dining area.

We estimate duties will requrie 5 hours per day including : feeding appprox 4-6 residents, shopping ,and menu planning for specialized diets (for ie vegan vegetarian, regular, addition as well as cooking for them.

Dinners will be hot meals, lunches will be prepared for residents to take with them.

Qualifications:

• Food Handler’s Certification (required).
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health treatment settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
