Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Chef
• Proven experience as a Chef in a buffet, hotel, or large-scale catering environment
• Able to plan, prepare, and execute a wide variety of buffet dishes (hot, cold, and live stations if applicable)
• Ability to handle high-volume food production efficiently
• Must ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation across high-volume service
• Must monitor food levels and replenish buffet stations promptly
• Able to develop menu rotations and seasonal buffet offerings
• Strong knowledge of international and local cuisine
• Competent at supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service
• Has a solid understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations
• Must be able to control food costs, portioning, and minimize waste
• Has the ability to inspect ingredients and ensure freshness and quality
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic)
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
