Job Responsibilities:

  • Dough Preparation
  • Prepare and knead dough for croissants, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Follow precise recipes and measurements to achieve desired texture and flavor.
  • Shaping and Layering
  • Roll and fold dough to create laminated layers characteristic of croissants.
  • Shape croissants into uniform sizes and designs, including classic and specialty styles.
  • Baking
  • Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve golden, flaky results.
  • Ensure croissants meet quality standards in appearance, texture, and taste.
  • Ingredient Management
  • Source and select high-quality ingredients such as butter, flour, and fillings.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
  • Hygiene and Safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and baked products.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Train and mentor junior staff in pastry techniques and croissant preparation.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Record Keeping
  • Maintain detailed records of production schedules, ingredient usage, and recipe adjustments.
  • Monitor sales data to determine popular items and adjust production accordingly.

Experience:
