Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will manage a section of the kitchen, prepare tasty dishes, and help keep our food quality high. You will work closely with the Area Chef and guide junior chefs as they learn and grow. If you love cooking and enjoy working in a fast and friendly kitchen, this job is for you.

Responsibilities

• Run and manage your kitchen section with help from Demi Chef de Partie and Commis Chef.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to our restaurant standards.
• Train and guide Commis Chefs so they understand their duties well.
• Ensure all prep work for your section is done before service.
• Keep track of stock, place orders, and control waste.
• Check the quality of ingredients and prepared food.
• Cook quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Keep your section clean, organised, and up to health and safety standards.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Delegate tasks to junior chefs and help them grow.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
• Make sure guests always have the best experience.
• Assist with special orders, buffet setups, parties, and menu ideas.
• Help with weekly specials, brunch menus, and kitchen inventories.
• Work with the Head Chef to create new and exciting dishes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Strong cooking and preparation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene rules.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
