Chef de Partie - Sushi

Hoshi Gourmet is a newly established Modern Japanese restaurant in Dubai, dedicated to creating exceptional sushi and a memorable dining experience. We are seeking a talented CDP Sushi Chef to join our culinary team and lead our sushi operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision, taste, and visual appeal.
  • Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Proper handling, storage, and rotation of fish and ingredients.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior sushi chefs.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative sushi dishes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in Japanese or Modern Japanese restaurants.
  • Expertise in traditional and modern sushi techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for culinary creativity and excellence.
