Job Title: ChefJob Summary

The Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met. The role involves menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and maintaining consistent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
  • Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and reduce food waste
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
  • Accommodate special dietary needs and customer requests

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Culinary degree or certification (preferred but not always required)
