We are looking for an experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, Costing of foods, making budgets, and staff scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Chef/ Kitchen Manager must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Develop staff schedules, determine staff levels, perform interviews.
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
• Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Train kitchen staff on proper techniques for food preparation and safety.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in working order and properly maintained.
• Develop menus and recipes for new dishes.
• Monitor food costs and adjust menus accordingly.
• Develop special menus every 4-6 weeks ( 3-6 items per menu ) holidays, and special events.
• Maintain a strong presence in the kitchen.
• Inventory is on the 1st of the month, middle (12th- 16th) of the month, and the last order day of the month.
• Staff accordingly to keep a low labor cost
• Make a banquet menu, and hold catering events at saddle mountain brewing company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
