Job Title: Chemical Sales Engineer

new established marine chemical company based in Houston Tx looking or sales Engineer to handle the chemical sales and generate the sales from zero

the candidates preferable to have experience in marine chemicals, marine supply experience, ship chandlers experience, oilfiled supply experience .

the compensation is basic salary plus high commission & bonus.

marine chemicals including all types o chemicals used on board like water treatment, tank cleaning chemicals , oil dispersant, rust remover, all types of degreasers and oil removers....exc they chemicals used in marine business, ship owners, ship chandlers and oilfield and rig owner.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions

Experience:
- Proven experience in sales management or a related role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective account management
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and secure new business opportunities
- Understand the market and industry trends to effectively position our technology sales solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical sales support and deliver customized solutions to clients
- Actively participate in business development activities to expand the customer base
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer relationships

Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technical sales or technology-related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus, as it will allow for better communication with Spanish-speaking clients
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred, but not required
