2. Key Responsibilities
-
Chemical Solution Preparation
-
Prepare pickling solutions, fluxes, and galvanizing baths according to specified formulas.
-
Replenish chemicals based on consumption to maintain bath stability.

Bath Monitoring & Analysis
-
Regularly test bath parameters such as pH, concentration, and metal ion content.
-
Record and report analysis data; take corrective actions when abnormalities are detected.
-
Chemical Handling & Storage
-
Manage chemical storage and usage in compliance with MSDS requirements.
-
Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
-
Laboratory Testing & Quality Control
-
Conduct sample testing (e.g., pickling effect, coating adhesion) as per process requirements.
-
Assist the quality department in analyzing coating defects and implementing improvements.
-
Equipment Maintenance
-
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (pH meters, titration equipment, analytical balances).
-
Perform regular calibration to ensure measurement accuracy.
-
Safety & Environmental Responsibility
-
Comply with safety procedures for chemical operations to prevent leakage and accidents.
-
Cooperate with environmental technicians for waste solution collection and neutralization.
-
Training & Improvement
-
Participate in training new employees on chemical operations.
-
Provide suggestions for chemical optimization and consumption reduction.
3. Qualifications
-
Education
: Technical diploma or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.

Experience
: Minimum 1 year of chemical laboratory or electroplating/galvanizing experience.

Skills
:

Proficiency in titration, pH measurement, and solution analysis.
-
Knowledge of common chemicals (acids, alkalis, zinc salts, chlorides).
-
Basic understanding of quality control in galvanizing processes.
-
Language
: Ability to read English chemical documentation; basic communication in English required.
-
Certificates
: Chemical handling or laboratory operation certificates preferred.
4. Working Conditions

Exposure to acid mist, corrosive liquids, and chemical fumes; strict PPE use required (goggles, acid-resistant gloves, protective clothing).

High-temperature and humid workshop environment.

Shift work and overtime required.
5. Performance Evaluation

Bath monitoring compliance rate ≥ 98%.
