Title: Chemist

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.

Required Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in commercial laboratories, specifically with LCMS+GCMS equipment.

Skills and Abilities: Attention to detail in laboratory procedures; excellent communication skills; teamwork skills; problem solving skills; time management skills; observation and decision-making skills in critical situations; strong technical knowledge.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory and adhere to occupational health and safety procedures and standards.
• Monitor the laboratory and equipment usage schedule. ▪ Follow the correct instructions for using laboratory equipment.
• Implement ISO 1702 quality management system standards in all laboratory activities.
• Submit records and reports of technical test results to the supervisor.
• Supervise all tests of feed, raw materials, fertilizers, minerals, and water according to sound standards and requirements and in accordance with quality standards.
• Manage and submit regular reports to the laboratory's chemical supervisor.
• Submit periodic reports on any observations regarding equipment performance and general condition, and request maintenance when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards for test results and outputs, and communicate with the supervisor in case of any errors.
• Conduct periodic external testing of materials to compare results, verify accuracy, and correct any errors.
• Conduct testing of raw materials and finished products of any type, such as water, food, animal feed, minerals, and fertilizers, as required by the client.
• Monitor sample handling according to the quality system, from sample receipt to disposal, and document all processes according to the established system.
• Perform some logistical and administrative tasks for the laboratory outside of its core work.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of operating and performing routine daily maintenance on LCMS and GCMS instruments.
• Have two consecutive years of experience working specifically with LCMS and GCMS instruments.
• Have prior experience working with fruit, vegetable, and food samples.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs373,000.00 - Rs448,000.00 per month
