Chemistry Lab Technician

Electralloy, a high quality producer of specialty steels, announces an entry level opening in its Chemistry Department.

The selected individual will be responsible for the following job duties:

1. Be proficient in all Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and spreadsheets.

2. Be able to perform basic math skills and have knowledge of all chemical symbols.

3. Be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

4. Be well organized and detail orientated.

5. Perform semi-routine lab assignments of some complexity.

6. Will assist in the development and implementation of new and/or revised procedures, methods, and processes.

7. Will analyze data and may need to prepare written reports.

8. An understanding of the practical aspects of steel laboratory production chemistry is desirable

9. Be willing to work all shifts and overtime as required.

The starting salary is approx. $36,000.00/year with an EXCELLENT benefit package.
