Chemistry Teacher

Location: RISHS International School, Mangadu

Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle School Chemistry Teacher who can inspire and engage students in the field of science, foster curiosity, and ensure strong academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for Grades 6–8
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that cater to different learning styles
• Foster practical learning through experiments and lab activities
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain proper classroom management and discipline
• Actively participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and co-curricular activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry with a B.Ed (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE/ICSE school
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to the school’s culture and work collaboratively
