Job Description

SAVPM Junior College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry Faculty to teach junior college students and develop strong conceptual understanding in chemistry through effective classroom and laboratory instruction. The candidate should be passionate about teaching, student mentoring, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry (Physical, Organic, and Inorganic) as per Junior College syllabus
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, and digital/visual teaching aids
• Conduct theory lectures and chemistry practical/lab sessions
• Ensure lab safety procedures and proper maintenance of records
• Prepare students for internal tests, board examinations, and practical exams
• Evaluate assignments, answer sheets, and practical journals
• Provide doubt-solving and remedial sessions for students
• Participate in academic planning, exams, and institutional activities
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment

Required Skills & Qualification

• Strong subject knowledge and practical chemistry skills
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience at Junior College (11th–12th) level
• Experience in board exam–oriented and practical-based teaching
