About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemistry teacher to teach high school students across international curricula, including IGCSE, AS/A-Level, AP, and IB (MYP & DP), with a strong focus on Higher Level (HL) content.

The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering advanced Chemistry concepts, supporting high-achieving students, and preparing them for top university admissions in the US, UK, and other global destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across multiple international curricula, including Higher Level (HL)
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual student needs in one-on-one and small group settings
• Prepare students for school exams, board exams, and relevant entrance tests
• Support students in mastering advanced topics, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies
• Monitor student performance and provide structured feedback to parents and academic coordinators
• Develop lesson plans, practice materials, and revision strategies aligned with curriculum standards
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages analytical thinking and scientific inquiry

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in international high school curricula
• Proven experience teaching one or more of the following: IGCSE, A-Level, IB (MYP/DP – HL preferred), AP
• Strong subject knowledge, especially in advanced/high-level Chemistry topics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Student-focused approach with the ability to engage and challenge high-performing learners
• Ability to handle both individual and small group classes effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing students for standardized tests such as SAT Subject Tests (if applicable), AP exams, or similar
• Teaching certification or formal training in international curricula
• Experience working in a tutoring center or academic support institute
• Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching methods

Work Location & Availability

• Based in Doha, Qatar
• Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate prior to joining
