Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team starting in May 2026. The ideal candidate must have strong experience teaching Cambridge & Edexcel IGCSE and AS/A Level Chemistry. The candidate must be capable of solving past paper questions accurately and providing clear, detailed doubt clarification to students. This is a full-time, in-office teaching position based in Sharjah.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE and AS/A Level Chemistry following the British curriculum.
- Deliver clear and engaging lessons focused on concept understanding and exam preparation.
- Solve and explain past paper questions in detail during class and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Conduct regular revision sessions and exam-oriented practice.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and study materials aligned with syllabus requirements.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and mock exams.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students on exam strategies and time management.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate with academic staff for curriculum planning and student support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching IGCSE and AS/A Level Chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge & Edexcel syllabus and past papers.
- Proven ability to solve and explain exam-style questions confidently.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Dedicated, patient, and student-focused teaching approach.
- Must be willing to work from the office (not remote).
- Candidates currently residing in Sharjah preferred.
- Spouse visa holders will be given preference.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching private candidates or in a tuition center environment.
- Ability to handle both group and one-to-one classes.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools (LMS, digital boards, Microsoft Teams) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
