The best part-time foodie job in town! Be a host for our Interactive Meals!

Our Interactive Meal is lighter and easier than a cocktail class, yet more fun and interactive than just “making a reservation for a private dining room.” Guests are welcomed with a delicious drink and snacks as they mix and mingle. Next, each guest will craft their own cocktail with appetizers along the way. Then, guests will be seated together for the seasonal entrée and another beverage pairing before teaming up for food and drink trivia with prizes. After a delicious dessert and more time for authentic engagement, the experience ends with a special, perspective-shifting flavor finale!

You will host groups in a restaurant setting for a multi course meal and interactive foodie experiences. You will be responsible for working with the restaurant-provided bartender to lead your group through a hands-on mixology segment, food and drink trivia, and flavor tripping while coordinating with the restaurant staff to ensure a smooth run of show!

Each Interactive Meal lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. There is light prep and post-event work (that is also paid)!

Pay and perks:

• $150 per event base rate (3 hours)
• Contractor role
• You set your available hours

Requirements:

• Passion for people, storytelling, and food and drink
• Reliable and on-time
• Hospitality-focused
• Engaging presenter who can command an audience when speaking
• Problem solver, independent decision maker
• Comfortable with technology, including smartphone with mobile apps
• Ability to stand for 3 hours
• Organized, ability to manage a flexible/irregular schedule
• Positive team-player
• 2+ years of prior work experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of your city's restaurant scene is a plus!
